Scalable multitouch screens sans projector
Moto Development Group seems to be doing well with their new multitouch screen technology based on what is referred to as "extremely fine" wires to conduct signals rather than ITO (indium tin oxide) as found in Apple Iphones and the likes.
According to Moto, the technology will allow scalability up to 50", with dimensions and pricing comparable to existing LCD-screen technology. This should for sure result in some very nice products such as multitouch enabled coffee tables and similar in a much better form factor that existing products based on bulky projectors. From the video, it seems that Moto are on track.
